"Short Twist"
- Science fiction about a girl who 'trips' through time. She finds
out that she's not alone, that an incident in the future has caused this
'twist'...

- Lots of Japanese caltureal refernces and drawing to support, cool
action, neet plot, tones of dericious charas. Good at both comical and serious
scenes. Beautiful, smart, and strong two 17een girls moving around Japanese
high school, making friends and fighting with enemies, who are all associated
with one person...
"Prelude" プレリュード−前奏曲− #1~3
Another original stylist. Her horror stories are unusual
and beautifully done. Great stuff!
She indulges a lot in supernatural stories. Her drawings
are clean and action intensive, full of thrill and suspense. She usually
grows the plot more than the character. She particularly good in drawing
flying, floating stances and creating suspense. Good choice for horror/fantasy.
"Yami no purple eye" 闇のパープルアイ #1~12
- What happens when half your genes are feline genes? This was the
story that won SHINOHARA-sensei the 32nd Shogakukan Manga Award in 1987.
"Umi no yami, Tsuki no kage" 海の闇月の影 #1~18
- A pair of twins were exposed to an ancient virus which give them
the ability to fly and pass through objects. One turn evil and the other
tries to stop her twin.
"Ao no fuin" 蒼の封印 #1~11
- A beautiful high school girl wonders why she's always hungry.
It turns out that her diet should be something more than what ordinary people
eat, and someone is sent to nab her before more damage is done.
"Ryouko no shinrei shikenbo" 陵子の心霊事件簿 #1~4
- Ryouko has a very strong 'ki', which attracted the spirit of a
guy, and those of other evil forces. Ryouko agrees to find this guy's body,
and his spirit would protect her during her search.
"Sora wa Akai Kawa no Hotori" 天は赤い河のほとり #1~5...
- Yuri was 'grabbed' into the bronze age kingdom of Anatolia, armed
with nothing but the civilisation knowledge of the 20th Century.
Usually science-fiction stories, SHIMIZU-sensei does
very pretty characters, and the way she draws thir hair is unique.
"Milky way"
- The first of Jack & Elena series. The two are robots. They
can live forever. Do they want to? Maybe yes, since they found each other.
"Ryuu no nemuru hoshi" 竜の眠る星 #1~5
- Another of Jack & Elena series.
"Moon Child" 月の子 #1~13
"Seito Shokun" 生徒諸君
- Kitashiro Naoko (Nakki), a lively girl transfers to a new school
and find new friends. Together they formed the Naughty Student Club. The
club stick together through storms and sunshines as the members learns about
life and maturity. Seito Shokun ends when Nakki finally becomes a teacher.
Growing up, love, hate, drama.
"Palm" パーム
- This series is the most well-known (some 20vols. long). Drama
about Carter, a guy who studied medicine and became a private detective,
his assistant James who used to be a whizkid, and Andy, a highschool kid
who claims that James is his mate. You gotta see it to believe it. The titles

- About a high school gal who wants to be a super model. She meets
a model and a small group of photographers, and learns from them. There are some
truly wonderful kissing scenes. There is also some boarding house humor,
maybe a bit in the vein of TAKEMIYA Keiko's "Spanish Harem".

Static art matches well with the story.
